I would begin by introducing students to some appropriate content usign a variety of resources including text books, web, videos etc.

Task needs to be structured in a way which will give students (Yr 7) enough of a scaffold for them to begin whilst being open ended enough for them to ‘take control’ of their learning. (Must also meet the CAT requirements!)
Finished task could be presented as a video, photo story, play etc.
Groups would need at least 3 – 6 members. Roles need to be decided upon within group/by group.
